The Rettie & Co. Magazine - Spring 2007

 Simon Rettie

Welcome to the fifth edition of the Rettie & Co. magazine. I am delighted to introduce a new look publication, produced by a new editorial team which I believe gives a fresh and exciting look and makes for a varied and interesting read. I am confident that you will enjoy it.

Our theme in this issue is "Widening Horizons" which reflects our move west with the opening of our Glasgow office, run by Bryce McCall Smith (more on Glasgow in our feature below).  I am delighted that we have opened our Glasgow office at this time. We had a very strong year in 2006 with sales of £375 million and we see this trend continuing through 2007. Our Glasgow office will improve and expand the service we already offer to clients who are doing business - whether it be selling their house or developing a piece of land - in the West of Scotland.

It would also be true to say that we have widened our horizons with this issue of the magazine, including articles on such diverse topics as lifestyle management' ("A PA for your Personal Life"), garden design ("Creating Kerb Appeal") and heli-skiing. We have also profiled two of our clients, who tell us about their diverse and interesting careers in the world of property as well as the low down  on how to obtain your private pilot's licence from Nick Watson, one of our longest  serving employees.

We strive always to improve the service we provide and develop first class working relationships with our clients. Our sales approach is highly innovative and we are committed to finding, keeping and resourcing the highest quality of professional and support staff, in order to deliver the best possible service to our clients.

ENJOY.
