A PA for your personal life

A frantic life of her own led Sarra Bejaoui to identify the need for her company. Cherry Lifestyle helps with all the personal admin that stacks up when you have a busy career and an active social life and offers a 'virtual' PA service to large companies, small businesses and people working alone.

Cherry Lifestyle evolved from Sarra's personal experience and research in big cities around the world to deliver all the services that you require but don't have the time to do - from collecting the dry cleaning to booking restaurants, buying birthday gifts and organising flights.

"I have always wanted to run my own business," says Sarra, "so when I spotted this need in the market and researched it, I decided to go for it."

Her initial research suggested that she could expect a large number of clients with relatively few or infrequent demands. In fact the reverse is true, she has a regular clientbase but has built a long term relationship with them, providing daily, weekly or monthly practical help to save them time and stress!

In addition, Cherry Lifestyle partners a range of luxury brands to offer its clients a level of service, upgrade and a little something that makes a real difference to their lives. For example, Cherry Lifestyle's association with  a range of restaurants allows the company to provide clients with that extra attention to detail from selecting an appropriate table  (vital if a confidential discussion is required),  to giving the client a personal welcome and complimentary champagne on arrival.

At Gleneagles, her clients receive an automatic room upgrade or, should that be unavailable, then once again complimentary champagne welcomes guests to their rooms.

Cherry Lifestyle seeks always to add value to  its clients' experience and to obtain preferential rates wherever possible. "We are proactive in seeking opportunities which reflect the lifestyle and interests of our clients and our aim is to enhance their lives."

Clients have one thing in common: they are successful people who are short of time but there is no such thing as a typical client: some are retired, some are CEOs of companies, some are executives in the financial community and they range in age from 25 to 75.

In addition to individual clients, Cherry Lifestyle offers a corporate package which several companies provide as a staff benefit. Recognising the importance of a work/life balance, companies offer a condensed version of the Cherry Lifestyle service to their employees - researching family holidays, arranging collection and delivery of dry cleaning at office premises and booking restaurants all come under the corporate umbrella. "This is a win/win situation for company and staff alike - employees get help to sort out their personal admin and business productivity is enhanced because staff are not spending work time organising their personal affairs," says Sarra.

Cherry Lifestyle's range of services is expanding all the time: "we can help with a house move - organising cleaning, removals and trades people to assist and we can also support smaller businesses with their PA requirements, which are often only required on a part-time basis, perhaps to book and organise business events or manage diaries," says Sarra, "helping them to run their businesses more efficiently, without the added complications and ongoing expense of full-time employment - holiday pay, National Insurance payments, and so forth."

Your virtual PA

This service specialises in managing the jobs you can't because you don't have the time, place or resources. We can provide a full service executive PA or occasional help with administration as and when required. This virtual PA service is of great benefit to large companies, small businesses and people working alone - whether new business start-ups or more senior non-executive directors, who still have a requirement for assistance but perhaps not the office set up that they once had as full time company directors. "Having access to a PA when I need one to organise my meetings or arrange an event for me is a fantastic service," says one Cherry Lifestyle client. "It means that I have help when I need it for as long as I need it."

"Our clients often fit the profile that new ventures seek to attract, so we are often contacted to 'market test' for example, we were given 20 tables at various prestigious restaurants," says Sarra, "which gives the restaurant access to the people that they are seeking to attract and gives our clients a pleasurable experience in a top class location." This clearly adds value to the service that Cherry Lifestyle offers since her clients have access to exclusive events at no charge to them.

Sarra now has a team of staff working with her, to meet the requirements of her clients and to ensure that each client has a dedicated point of contact within the company who knows their likes and dislikes and can tailor services to their needs. "We are often asked to source and buy gifts on behalf of clients," she says, "but our most unusual gift request was a chihuahua puppy for a client's child - it took a while but we found one."
