As the year has progressed there has been fervour to identify any uptick in indicators as sign of market recovery, unsurprising given the sales desert that has been the market for the past 18 months. So as we navigate the traditionally most buoyant time of year are the reported 'green shoots' a cause for careful optimism or a mirage caused by market exposure?
