James graduated from Newcastle University in 1995, and worked in Edinburgh for Chiene and Tait for two years after graduation. He then changed track and began his property career in 1997 in London, doing acquisitions and property search. He joined Rettie in 2001, on his return to Scotland. He is now Director of Sales with responsibility for the Edinburgh Team, and is focused on growing and expanding our market share within the City. He brings a wealth of experience to each property transaction he deals with and has a large client base across the city.
