Double Award for Scotland’s leading Independent Property Agents

Rettie & Co are delighted to announce they have won two coveted trophies at the UK Property Awards in association with Bloomberg Television; Best International Real Estate Agency Website and Best UK Real Estate Agency Website.

Previous winners of this prestigious award include global enterprises and market competitors Knight Frank and Harrods Estates.

As Scotland’s leading independent property agents Rettie & Co have made significant investments into their web marketing over the last 12 months. And to further back up their awards, have also performed highly in a recent survey by Greenlight who provide analysis of the most important search terms, trends and benchmarking data to the Real Estate market.

The Greenlight research was carried out in conjunction with Google (where 90% of all web users conduct searches). Greenlight analysed and monitored search term behaviour in the Real Estate sector, which in turn captured some outstanding results for Rettie & Co.

‘After you strip out all the portal sites such as Rightmove and Zoopla, we are leading the field in terms of independent agents in the UK and are competing successfully with the largest property companies in the country. The statistic I was most impressed by was for location based searches - where we ranked 10th  which is higher than the ESPC, again if you take out the portal sites, we are in fact the number one. Considering we are a local independent company and portals such as the ESPC have over 200 member firms we are punching well above our weight. ’
