Welcome to this Autumn edition of Rettie & Co's Lettings & Property Management Newsletter.

Our aim is to keep our valued landlords up to date and share with you our news and industry stories we think will be of interest to you.

We've launched a new lettings website

Following the relaunch of rettie.co.uk last Autumn, we carried out a survey of our client base and visitors to our website.

We were delighted with the positive response and this summer we launched a new and improved lettings website, tailored to better suit our lettings audience:

We have created two main sections titled Landlords and Tenants and redesigned the lettings homepage to give our current and prospective landlords more useful information on the lettings market and the services we offer.

We have also created a new tenants homepage that features the Lettings Properties of the Week and improved our useful how-to guides for landlords, tenants and student tenants.

To coincide with our new website, we have also launched a  series of short videos with key members of our team taking you through the process of letting and management with Rettie & Co. You can view the videos here.

Rettie & Co one of first to join SAFEAgent scheme

Rettie & Co are pleased to announce our Letting & Management Department have joined the SAFEAgent scheme.

This is a UK-wide scheme created to reassure landlords and tenants that their letting agent protects their money through a client money protection scheme.

Rettie & Co are fully regulated by the RICS. We hold our clients' monies in separate business accounts, meaning their money is always 100% safe. We are one of the few letting agencies in Scotland that is a member of the RICS and we are pleased to be one of the first to join the SAFEAgent scheme.

Very few agents are able to meet this criteria and demonstrate to both landlord and tenants that their money is safe.

Better letting in Glasgow

The Rettie & Co letting team in Glasgow are going from strength to strength.

Jaimie Millan and Laura Anderson have doubled their managed portfolio this year, providing their landlord clients with valuable advice on obtaining the best sustainable return on their properties.
