The seven-strong Land & Development team specialises in the sale and acquisition of development land, development sites and investments across Scotland. We also provide consultancy to developers and we act as consultants on mixed use projects. Clients include residential developers, private and institutional landowners, pension and property funds, local councils and commercial developers.

Caltongate, Edinburgh - Mountgrange Ltd. This major mixed-use scheme, covering 8.5 acres east of Waverley Station in Edinburgh, is an excellent example of Rettie & Co.'s ability to work collaboratively with project architects, commercial agents, quantity surveyors and planning consultants. Heritor's Consultants Ltd. A joint venture with HBoS, Heritor's retain the Land & Development team to source off-market residential development sites which have included office blocks, former religious retreats, hotels and investments.

Plean, Stirlingshire - Strawsons Property. In 2007, the Land & Development Team began marketing a significant 17 acre site in Plean on behalf of Strawsons Property. This is a high profile site in the Central Belt requiring an agent with contacts to all the major residential developers in Scotland and beyond.
