HR & Operations Assistant

The key focus of the Operations Team is to develop, support, and maintain the environment, systems and processes that allow the Rettie Group to achieve its vision of being 'Best in Class'.

Team:                           Operations Team (HR, Marketing, IT, Compliance), Edinburgh

Accountable to:           Senior HR Advisor

Direct Reports:            None

 

PURPOSE OF ROLE

The key focus of the Operations Team is to develop, support, and maintain the environment, systems and processes that allow the Rettie Group to achieve its vision of being 'Best in Class'.

As HR & Operations Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the Senior HR Advisor in delivering all stages of the employee lifecycle and will be accountable for all HR administration tasks, this will be the focus of your role. You will also assist with projects that form part of our People Strategy.

In addition, you will also act as a support to senior members of the Operations Team, namely the Chief Operating Officer and Risk & Compliance Manager, assisting them with administration tasks and providing support for key Compliance tasks.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

●      Complete all HR administration accurately, within required timeframes and to required compliance standards

●      PeopleHR superuser

●      Provide required information to Payroll team as required

●      Provide regular management information on agreed HR KPIs

●      Coordinate recruitment process

●      Coordinate employee onboarding and off boarding

●      Coordinate the organisational aspects of the Learning and Development programme

●      Act as support to the Compliance Manager for key compliance activities such as anti-money laundering checks and audits

●      Assist COO with organisational tasks such as internal communication planning/ events

 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

●      CIPD qualified or working towards a CIPD qualification

●      Possess excellent spoken and written communication skill

●      Effective listening skills

●      Able to build strong collaborative relationships across internal and external stakeholders

●      Sound knowledge of HR processes at all stages of the employee lifecycle
