Marketing Account Manager: New Homes

Your primary function is to manage the marketing campaigns of new home sales projects by building effective relationships with existing clients with the objective of maintaining and maximising opportunities to generate fee income from existing relationships and to establish new fee generating relationships.

Purpose of the Role

Your primary function is to manage the marketing campaigns of new home sales projects by building effective relationships with existing clients with the objective of maintaining and maximising opportunities to generate fee income from existing relationships and to establish new fee generating relationships.

Along with fee generation, it will be a key part of the role to evaluate each project within your portfolio and advise on performance and required marketing actions to support that performance where needed.

As part of this function it is essential that you provide the high level of service required by our clients. You will be expected to build effective business relationships with builders, developers and clients and will be responsible for ensuring continued income growth in the managed portfolio.

The role will involve a balance of day to day tasks in delivering the marketing function of the business, alongside the strategic thinking to foresee and overcome obstacles in each campaign.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Preparation of lead-generation marketing strategies to suit each campaign and react to enquiry levels
  •  Review weekly reports from broker team, add advice on suitable marketing activities to reflect the enquiry levels and then issue reports to clients
  •  Review and manage marketing income P&L to ensure a profit is being made
  •  Complete project checklists by requesting marketing assets and site information from clients and other team members
  • Ensure compliance aspect of each project is set up initially
  • Creating and managing online listings
  • Copy writing and graphic design/coordination for digital/print adverts, brochures, signage and more
  • Coordination of advertising collateral to meet copy deadlines

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strategic thinking, planning and execution
  • Report writing and excellent presentation skills
  • Sales and proven business development skills
  • Marketing knowledge and experience (online/offline strategies)
  • Knowledge of New Homes legislation and incentives
  • Business to Business networking experience
  • Thrives in a competitive selling environment
  • Target driven
  • Ability to add value to projects through analysis and creative thinking
  • Self-motivated with the ability and willingness to work independently
  • Analytical and able to utilise marketing reporting tools such as Google Analytics
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Power Point
  • Excellent team player, able to contribute to wider team goals
