Senior HR Advisor - Maternity Cover 12 mths 
30 hrs, Full time option would be considered

PURPOSE OF ROLE

The key focus of the Operations team is to develop, support and maintain the environment, system and processes that allow Rettie & Co. to achieve its vision of delivering exceptional customer service.

As Senior HR Advisor you will be responsible supporting the Chief Operating Officer in the development and implementation of the People Strategy and will be accountable for the planning and delivery of all HR processes and administration. You will be required to develop collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and manage external supplier relationships. You will have the opportunity to influence and be part of a variety of strategic people focused projects that support Rettie & Co.’s growth strategy.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

●      Hands-on role offering full suite HR generalist support to actively implement the People Strategy

●      Accountable for ensuring HR administration accuracy to required compliance standards

●      Promote Rettie & Co.’s culture and ensure that it is reflected in all people related projects/activities  

●      Support the collection, analysis and reporting of relevant people metrics and data to guide decision-making related to remuneration, organisational structure, attrition, promotions, leadership, employee development and other activities

●      Play a key role in supporting the business during the implementation of organisational change

●      Provide guidance on all aspects of employee relations and employment legislation

●      Support the development and coaching of managers in their people leadership and management skills

●      Coordinate employee recruitment, onboarding and off boarding and support managers in these processes

●      Support the development, delivery and evaluation of training & development strategies across our business

●      Support our talent management and succession planning processes to identify and support key talent across our business

 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

 

●      CIPD qualified to level 5 standard as a minimum.

●      Possess excellent spoken and written communication skill

●      Effective listening skills

●      Able to build strong collaborative relationships across internal and external stakeholders

●      Experience in end to end employment relations case management

●      Confident preparing and delivering presentations and training

●      Negotiation skills

●      HR Processes

●      Business Acumen
