How long have your worked for Rettie? I have been with Rettie for over 4 years now, starting of as a Property Manager within the Lettings Department.
What is your role now? Currently I am a Senior Portfolio Manager and I am also a Team Leader. It is a very varied role and I have lots of opportunities for training and personal development.
What has been your best or most interesting moment so far working at Rettie & Co.? The people, I have met such a large variety of people, clients/residents and colleagues over the years and that’s what motivates you to be the best version of yourself.
How long have your worked for Rettie? I have been with Rettie since May 2009, starting in the New Homes Team before moving over to Edinburgh Residential Sales.
What is your role now? I am a Valuer which means that I am the person who will visit a house when the owner is starting to think about selling. I discuss their options and what I feel is the value of their home, and what the sales process might look like.
What do you enjoy most about your role? I get a real buzz out of someone choosing me to sell their property, and when I hear that the property has gone under offer, I feel a real sense of achievement.
How long have your worked for Rettie? I have been with Rettie for 19 years which is most of my career. I started within the Lettings team before moving over to the New Homes Sales Team.
What is your role now? Currently I am the Director in charge of New Homes and Consultancy.
What opportunities have you been able to take advantage of? For me, the most significant thing is that whilst working at Rettie I was able to study through a correspondence course to become a Surveyor, and then to work towards my APC, to become a Chartered Surveyor. Qualifications and training is something that Rettie & Co. take very seriously, and the support given to staff wishing to progress is fantastic.
