Alan Cumming

From Aberdeen, Alan Cumming joined Rettie in October 2024, bringing over 19 years of experience in the residential property sector to his role as Head of Sales and Financial Services. Alan will be leading the Residential Sales, New Homes Sales, and Financial Services teams, overseeing their efforts to deliver outstanding service across all aspects of property sales and financial planning.

Before joining Rettie, Alan was a Director at a prominent Scottish law firm, where he managed teams across 14 property branches, playing a key role in driving business growth and operational success. Prior to this, he served as Head of Asset Management, working closely with major UK lending institutions to deliver strategic insights and asset solutions.

With a strong record in team leadership and business expansion, Alan is well-equipped to foster growth and streamline processes at Rettie as the business continues to evolve.
