Glasgow City Centre once again came under the world’s media spotlight with Hollywood film crews closing city streets and causing excitement across the city streets as well as creating traffic mayhem.

Transforming Glasgow’s historic buildings with USA flags and the streetscape with yellow cabs, Spiderman stunt men, film crews and the fan mania has swept the city over the last few weeks, bringing both foreign tourism and visitors from the suburbs into the city trying to catch a glimpse of some action, caught up in the buzz of film crews and a city transformed into the Streets of New York.

And whilst the summer months are usually a little quieter for viewings and further slowed this year by all the filming activity and restricted access to the centre, just in the last week we have fielded an increasing number of enquiries and Home Report downloads from overseas buyers and viewers new to Glasgow. As the summer holiday season comes to a close with University staff and Post Grads preparing to get back to business, coupled with 1000’s of workers returning to full time office occupancy in the International Financial Services District of Glasgow City Centre over recent months, we are anticipating a new wave of buyers keen to consider #GlasgowCity living and avoid the winter commute from the suburbs to City Centre work headquarters.
