Maitland has 30 years of experience within the residential property market and is one of the leading figures in valuations and sales in Glasgow. Maitland joined Rettie as Managing Partner of the Rettie West End LLP in Byres Road, Glasgow.
Maitland’s property career began in 1986 when he joined Slater Hogg & Howison in Glasgow, where he progressed to Senior Valuer. He then moved on to join the Glasgow Solicitors Property Company. He was director of A & S Ireland Solicitors and Estate Agents from 2002 to 2009, handling a large share of the West End property market.
