  • Rettie helped us sell our Park district flat for what it was actually worth, after we'd had a really disappointing experience with another estate agent. The difference between Rettie and the other company was clear from the off: their area manager visited and chatted to us for about 90 minutes, and that was followed up by another visit from the two members of staff who would be managing the property sale and doing the viewings. We probably got about 2.5hrs + of their time which is about 5x more than the other company! We had a figure in mind when we went to sell & our previous attempt fell well below that. Obviously your mileage may vary but we really do believe that Rettie played a big role in showcasing the flat's true value. We listed on a Friday and had accepted an offer first thing Monday morning. Our first attempt not using Rettie was about 4% over Home Report, which was not a fair figure for the flat we sold, but with Rettie we came in at about 15%, we believe from looking at nearby places that our sale is one of the highest prices per square meter for a flat of this kind. We used the enhanced marketing package because we knew that the flat needed proper showcasing & the video that we put together really moved the needle - thousands of views etc. A small price to pay to make sure that your flat is correctly showcased.
