Ruby Shoes – Always tempting - cool Danish clothing brands and stylish footwear, trainers and accessories.
Biscuit – another cool boutique with interesting brands and unusual gifts.
181 Delicatessen – tasty, light lunches and good coffee. Great at Easter and Christmas for interesting food gifts.
Cuckoo Bakery – best cupcakes in town!
Bay Tree – the best card shop by far and unusual small gifts.
Luca’s Ice Cream – a family favourite, despite the long queues in summer. This can be my last supper!
This is my favourite shopping area by far!
Barnton/Cammo
Best scone in town – Apple and Cinnamon scone from Cloudberry – amazing! Nice cakes, cards and gifts.
Envelope and Bacon – cute post office, food gifts and take away foods. Fisher and Donaldson cakes from St Andrews worth the journey.
Playpark beside the Shetland Ponies and a walk past Dowies Mill to Cramond is always lovely. If you exclude the super steep steps halfway along.
Often there is an ice cream van at the end as a reward.
