Dispensary House is situated in the centre of the historic and attractive Borders town of Kelso, which lies on the banks of the river Tweed. Floors Castle is close by, and Kelso plays host to the annual Border Union Agricultural Show and world-famous Ram Sales. Edinburgh is within easy commuting reach by car via the A68 or A7, or by the Border Railway, with the station at Tweedbank a short 16-mile drive away and has a journey time to Edinburgh of around 55 minutes. Edinburgh international airport lies to the northwest of Kelso while Berwick-upon-Tweed, with its mainline rail link and the A1 lies approximately 24 miles to the east. Newcastle airport is approximately 64 miles to the south.
