This morning we hosted our very first Rettie live webinar. First to take to the online stage were our new St Andrews branch who presented on the property insights and demand behind their recent branch opening. Here we share some more details from the big event along with the presentation slides and a video recording of the webinar.

Our Rettie Lettings team is very multi-national, and we are proud to be able to support our customers with several different languages within the team. Our team of multi-lingual specialists can use their language skills to help make residents feel comfortable and make their moves effortless and quick.

We are delighted to announce that we have officially opened our new branch on Bell Street in the heart of St Andrews. Our newly opened branch is headed up by George Lorimer as Director, and will provide bespoke service as well as focused and personalised marketing of properties in North East Fife, including St Andrews, along the Fife Coastal trail and over into Dundee and Tayside. St Andrews has been identified as a prime location due to the strong performance of property sales in the town during 2020 and the last decade, we are looking forward to bringing our skilled team directly to the area to deliver high quality Rettie service values in this booming market.

Staying at home in the UK for our breaks will be on the cards for most of us this year. There is no greater place to visit than Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland.

PfP Capital have completed their first two developments within a pipeline of over 1,000 homes across Scotland for their Mid-Market Rent Fund. These sites deliver 109 new homes for mid-market rent in Paisley and Millerhill, offering a range of sizes across 1 to 4-bedroom properties.

When we entered the Chinese New Year at the end of January, we were expecting it to be the Year of the Rat, but as things have turned out you could say it has been the Year of the Homeworker. However, there are some interesting traits for those of born in one of the many Years of the Rat - quick-witted, resourceful, versatile and kind. 2020 has definitely been a year for demonstrating those traits.

Christmas is just round the corner and we are all hoping to be able to enjoy the slight relaxation of rules to see friends or family in our extended bubbles. And after a year like no other, it seems even more important this December to be decorating our homes, making them a joyous and welcoming hub for the festive period.

As we officially launch our new Kirkintilloch Office, we have a look back at some of the beautiful homes we have previously sold in G64 & G66. We are delighted to expand our Bearsden LLP in to Kirkintilloch.

Since the reopening of the housing market in June, we have been flooded with enquiries when we are launching properties. With many applicants keen to secure properties and tenancies on the strength of video tours alone, we are putting properties to closing dates, lessening the time that properties are on the market and reducing void periods. One flat was launched at 9am and was let by 5pm!
