In Scotland, approximately 40 per cent of all households under the age of 35 are in the Private Rental System. In Edinburgh, this statistic is closer to 65%.

A ceremony this morning attended by the Scottish Housing Minister Margaret Burgess, marked the completion of the largest National Housing Trust project yet undertaken in Scotland. 145 apartments at Sailmaker Place, Edinburgh, all with underground parking and let at affordable rents, were officially completed today.
