Scottish new build stats lowest since World War II

New Build start statistics show an improvement but levels are the lowest since WW2: Scottish Government figures released this week show that, over a year, new build starts are up 11%, but completions are down 4%. The total number of new homes completed in the past 12 months is slightly over 15,000. Demographic statistics suggest that this is well below the rate needed to meet demand and avoid further stress on the existing housing stock. You can access to government figures here.
